RHS Cruise Division is dedicated to providing seamless husbandry services to Principals and ensuring that their passengers and crew are catered for in every way. Our staff have been trained to appreciate the fact that passengers and crew on board expect a certain level of service which we aim to exceed.
Starting initially with the handling of ‘wayport callers’ we graduated to ‘turnaround calls’ at Dubai. Since December 2006, we were an integral part of the first ever HOMEPORTING calls to the Gulf region. Using Dubai as a HUB, two of Europe’s premiere cruise brands – AIDA Cruises & Costa Crociere, inaugurated this concept with two ships –AIDACara & COSTA CLASSICA. It was a sharp learning curve, not just for us as Port Agents, but all related local authorities.
The HUB concept took hold and has grown from a two ship operation which lasted for 10 weeks in 2006/2007, to a three ship operation, starting from December 2007 and extending until April 2008. By 2009/2010 the passenger throughput crossed 229,000 only for the cruise ships we handled.
In 2010 we were closely coordinating and were an integral part of the first ever christening ceremony of a Cruise ship in Dubai. Costa Deliziosa was christened on February 2010 at Port Rashid Dubai.
Within RHS Cruise Division’s regional network we handle the majority of Carnival brands, Crystal Cruises, and Fred Olsen, promoting and developing not just Dubai, but the region.
RHS stands at the forefront of the Cruise Agency business, having set matchless standards in service, performance and delivery, be it the prestigious Queen Mary 2, with an LOA of 345m, or a small adventure ship with an LOA of 91m.
RHS offers the benefit of dealing with a single company for a diverse range of ports and countries, thereby achieving economies of scale and better overall management of the Principal’s Cruise Liner business.
